Adashi is the commercial alter ego of Andrei Iancu. He is the one that can afford all the money making liberties that any proper artist should not be bothered with. He is selling stock photography and designing various stuff (such as websites, print materials, logos etc.)
Andrei is all dreamy and artsy and he wants to go out clubbing in the middle of the night (a work night). Adashi is serious and down to earth, and goes to bed early. He also made sure that Andrei finishes up this website.
So you see, Andrei needs him in order to survive.
